A Special Need

 

I have mentioned the need of Orhan Kurt and his family before, he is the young boy who suffered serious brain damage following an attack of measles when aged 9.  In addition to some medicines the boy needs physiotherapy, very expensive creams for massages, incontinence pads and very regular medical check ups which can involve journeys to Ankara or Antalya.  These expenses can reach 3-3500 a month and are beyond the family’s income – they have already sold many of their possessions to cope.

On the 7^th of October this year under the auspices of the Kaymakam a bank account number 83061918 has been opened in the Fethiye branch of the Yapi ve Kredi bank for those who wish to make donations to help this family manage to look after their son.
